This is one of the finest paintings I have ever gotten, and certainly one of the best Mielan has done to date, in my opinion. (and that says a lot because he has done a lot of incredible pieces!) It is on stretched canvas, on an oval shaped wood frame, measuring 16x20 inches. This is the second Pixie piece he has done in his series of these, and his first dragon, which are always cool:)
While dragons and pixies aren't normally my thing, I just loved this piece so much when I saw it that I had to get it. It's got amazing color and detail that the picture doesn't do justice for, but that is almost always the case with painted art. You can't fully appreciate it unless you're standing in front of it, which is why it's hung proudly on my wall.
So the main pic was taken with the camera flash on so it's a little washed out in some spots, but does show more detail than this darker pic below without flash. So with the flash, you see more of the details, and without the flash, you see more of the colors. So they are both here for you to see:)
