After almost four decades of comic reading and collecting I lost interest with DC's New 52 and their mishandling the characters. Around that time, I happened to notice original comic art on eBay and jumped in... and got the bug bad! Some of my hobby background includes that I was the manager of Video Ventures Comics located in Long Island, Franklin Square, NY during the 1980's through my high school and college days. I set up every month at the Rockville Centre comic show. If you were active in the hobby back then in Long Island you likely know me, but since virtually everyone at our store had a nickname, you likely know me as 'Satch'.
