GUNDAM - Original Oil Painting By Kunio Hokawara + Model Kit Zaku Warrior - (1979)
This painting is one of the robots of the Gundam series, created and designed by Kunio Hokwara. He was the first Japanese designer to be called a mecha designer, meaning that he specialises in the design and implementation of designs for robots, ships, cars and other mechanical items for fantasy works, such as anime and manga. He is especially well known for designing the Gundam Mecha and many other souls of both super robot and real robot genres (Hurricane Polymar, tekkaman, Gatchaman, Mobile Suit Gundam, Yattaman, Guinguiser, daitan 3, trider G7, Daikengo).

Maltaite, Eric - Original plate (p.32) - 421volume 9 - Morgane Angel
421 is a Belgian comics series created by writer Stephen Desberg and cartoonist Éric Maltaite. Published from January 3, 1980 to September 9, 1992 in Spirou magazine and published from April 1983 to November 1992 by Dupuis. The plots focuses on the missions of the eponymous hero, a member of the British secret service. A very nice atmosphere comes from this plate with a movie scene on 3 inked boxes which gives a dynamic to the whole story.

A prelude to Buddy Longway, this series marks an important turning point in the career of the Swiss illustrator because it refines his semi-realistic line style, less influenced by Greg. This original plate comes from volume 7.

Light troops from Britain (1778 and others). Gouache illustration from the 70s by the Funcken spouses ( Liliane & Fred ) for “L’Uniforme & les Armes des Soldats de la Guerre en Dentelle vol.1” published in 1975 by Casterman. Prestigious painting for a reference book. The Funckens worked for years to accurately depict the uniforms from different wars. This illustration is in very good condition, a truly remarkable masterpiece.
Jailloux, Marc - Original plate (p.26) - Alix vol.34 - “Par delà le Styx”
Caesar prepares to launch a decisive attack against Pompey’s last supporters, in Africa. In Rome, Heraklion is struck by a strange illness, which will lead Alix to the confines of Numidia to come to his aid. He will have to brave greedy mercenaries and unscrupulous assassins to save Heraklion. This action-filled plate features a captivating ambush scenario.

A very good and stunning original page, hand painted by Don Lawrence in 1969. This page has been signed by Don Lawrence; it still has the vibrant trademark colours of Don’s work. It is in original state, complete with milkpaper overlap, tape and notes, a very beautifull display piece. It comes with the original first print page, and booklet with proof of authenticity.
