This is a vintage and original published gouache on board illustration art painting by noted illustrator and cartoonist Noel Sickles.
A dramatic scene shows a man in handcuffs being led down stairs by gunpoint to a waiting car. A remarkably detailed and richly shaded grayscale illustration that was published on page 214 of the March, 1972 issue of Reader's Digest to accompany the David MacDonald story "A Wind of Madness: Canada's Trial By Terror."
Measures a complete, matted 15 1/2" x 19 1/2" with an image sight size of 9" x 12 3/4"
