Pat Oliphant - Editorial Cartoon Henry Kissinger Original Art (LA Times Syndicate, c. 1974).
In 1974, Henry Kissinger married his second wife, Nancy Maginnes. This seems to be Oliphant's commentary on how often World leaders would call upon Kissinger's counsel. Also of note, the paste-up punchline reads "Dear Ann Landers. Every time the phone rings, my husband..."
There is an inscription in the bottom right corner that indicates this was once a gift to the real Ann Landers. It reads "For Dear Anne Landers, Best Wishes from Pat Oliphant".
Crafted in ink over graphite on Duotone board with an image area of 15" x 9".
