PatrolmanXstudios features a variety of comic art. We mainly focus on selling or trading art of the ghost who walks and supporting the artists who has illustrated the Phantom. We are a huge fan of Doug Klauba. He is an award-winning illustrator, Douglas Klauba has created cover artwork for books featuring such famous characters as Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Doc Savage, The Avenger, The Spider, Zorro, and The Phantom, among others. His work is recognized for his dramatic use of lighting in an adventure pulp style and has earned him acclaim from collectors and clients around the world. In addition to his publishing work for companies including Pegasus Books, Dynamite Entertainment, American Fantasy Press, Radio Archives, Moonstone Books, Zenescope Entertainment, Image Comics, and DC Comics/Upper Deck, comic book legend Alex Ross selected Doug to collaborate on a series of 2 page origins for Project Superpowers Chapter 2 from Dynamite Entertainment. Doug is currently providing artwork for Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. characters John Carter Of Mars, Pelucidar, and Tarzan, while also teaching at the International School of Comics in Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago, Doug is a graduate of the American Academy of Art. After gaining valuable professional experience at several Chicago illustration studios, he moved to California to study at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
