Espy from Tony Daniel's Tenth by Peacock - my first ever piece of comic art!

ARTWORK DETAILS:

Artist(s): ? Peacock, Penciller
Media Type: Pen and Ink
Art Type: Convention Sketch
Views: 470
Added to Site: 4/5/2013

This is the first piece of art that I ever picked up. On a lark, back in 2001, I went to my first small comic show (local show called the Edmonton Pop Culture Fair). It was/is held in an airport hangar and they used to bring in an artist or 2 (they don't seem to anymore). In future years, I saw Cary Nord and Tom Grummett at the show. This first show, Dario Carrasco and "Peacock" were there. Before this show, I didn't know artists did such things as "con sketches" or that you could buy original art that was used for comics. Unfortunately, I can not remember this artist's first name. I keep wanting it to be James, but no idea if that is right. At any rate, without him, I would never have the collection I currently have. So thank you Mr. Peacock, and thank you Tony Daniel for inspiring me to ask for a sketch! I was huge into The Tenth at the time, and without it, also never would have gotten into comic art!
