Description: Page 26 from the first A Sailorís Story graphic novel, which was written and drawn by Sam Glanzman (pencils & inks), and published by Marvel Comics. In 1987.

A Sailorís Story essentially continued Glanzmanís semi-autobiographical stories about his time serving aboard the Navy Destroyer, USS Stevens, during World War II.

In this page, Seaman Glanzman reports for duty in the engine room and immediately regrets it as heís assigned to wire brush the deck plates! Chief Wippit later hands him a checklist of readings to take and he crawls down into the bilges and an idea starts to form on how to change his situation.

This page is also page 26 in the Dover Books collection of both Sailor Story graphic novels.!


Condition: Original measures 11-1/2Ē x 17-1/4Ē and is in Very Good condition.
