Offered here is the published art for Ultimate X-Men 100 pg 6 drawn by Mark Brooks and inked by Karl Story. As many are aware, issue 100 was the final issue of Ultimate X-Men (published March 18, 2009) however the story continued in Ultimatum #4-5 ending with Ultimate X-Men: Requiem. This issue begins when Madrox clones blow up Parliament House, killing Captain Britain and other Captains of the European nations. At Xavier’s School, Wolverine, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel and Iceman returned to discover that Xavier has also been killed. In this page, Wolverine, Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, and Rogue stand beside the tables staring at the dead. ‘So what do we do?’ asks Rogue. ‘We kill ‘em’ mumbles Wolverine. Angel stares at the body of his dead girlfriend, Dazzler, and decides that he is just a distraction. Marvel Girl tells him they need him since ‘Things are about to get worse. Much worse!’ I am calling this "the published art" because (as it was told to me) the original pencil art for these pages was done on 8.5 x 11" paper, scanned and electronically sent to Karl Story due to deadline issues. Karl then "blew them up" and printed them on standard 11 x 17" 2-ply Bristol (although this is DC paper, not Marvel) so he could ink them for publication. So, for transparency, this is not "technically" a blue line, but Mark Brooks' pencils are not under Karl Story's inks but this is the image used to publish the page in the comic. I know; complicated. As usual, shipping is not included in the price and I prefer checks and money orders. If you need to use PayPal I need it to be sent as a "gift" or Friends and Family" Sorry if that is an issue.
