Original artwork for DC Retroactive: Batman - The '80s page 26 (DC, 2011), by the super talent Jerry Bingham (pencils and inks). This is the very last page from the darkly thrilling tale, "The Revenge of the Reaper" which features Batman and Robin consoling the nun, Rachel Caspian just after rescuing her from the two criminals who were disguising themselves as the ruthless Reaper- her deceased father. Bingham concludes this grim tale with a wonderful half splash as Batman and Robin stride away from the construction site with a eerie and grim visage of the original Reaper forming in the swirling clouds above them, unseen by the Dynamic Duo. Will he return to plague them sometime in the future? Great piece by one of the very finest artists to ever work on the character at any time and in any era. From the personal archives of Bingham himself. In excellent condition with image size measuring 10.5" x 16." http://www.archangels.com/catalog-detail.php?id=4020
